Tadpoles teach children about life cycles
Posted: 13th May 2019A life cycle is happening right in front of the curious eyes of young children.
Magna Carta Primary Academy has captured the attention of its Reception pupils by setting up a tank of tadpoles in their classroom.
Each day, pupils are eager to get into school to witness the changes taking place as the tadpoles grow legs and turn into frogs.
Headteacher Marios Solomonides said: “The tadpoles are a great opportunity for our youngest pupils to learn about life cycles and to watch for themselves the changes taking place.
“The children are loving it and coming in every day excited to see what has happened.”
