Author Visit
Posted: 8th November 2017You’re never too young to have career aspirations.
That was the thinking behind a visit to Magna Carta Primary Academy, in Stansted, by author Hollie Hughes.
The writer of Ninja Nan and The Famishing Vanishing Mahoosive Mammoth visited the reception and Year 1 pupils to inspire them to become authors in future.
She also read excerpts from her two books before answering the children’s questions and signing their books.
Sophia Tanner, receptionist, said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed listening to Hollie. She managed to grasp their imaginations while reading her books and they were asking some fantastic questions.
“I believe we might have future authors here at Magna Carta.”
